Sinharaja National Park has an international importance and has been designated as a Biosphere reserve and declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO. Yala national park is spread in an area of 1260 square kilometers and it is the second largest but most visited national park in Sri Lanka. The climate of the Yala National park is generally dry and hot. It is home to species of leopards, mammals, butterflies and various kind of animals, insects, reptiles and birds. Galoya national park is ideal location to see elephants and leopards. Wasgamuwa national park is a natural park in Sri Lanka and large herds of elephants can be seen, it cannot be described as it is beyond Words.
