DAY 01
Airport / Kandy
Arrival at Colombo International Airport where you will be meet & welcome by our representative or Tour Guide and transfer to Kandy.
En route visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Peradeniya Botanical Gardens is first developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British, the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya – today bundled with the most welcoming facilities located just 4 miles off Kandy – is a flourishing national asset in the Wonder of Asia. Walk into this 147 acre bliss of an experience, passing well tended lawns, pavilions & an octagon conservatory to be greeted by the vast expanse of a magnificently landscaped lush green turf which will encourage you for an exhilarating break. Towards the north of the entrance rests a cafeteria that one might come across before stepping into some of the highlights – the orchid house & giant Java fig tree – of this place which overflow in grace.
Thereafter transfer to Kandy.
Do city tour of Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name ‘Kandy’ conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town, the bazaar, an arts & crafts centre and a gem museum / lapidary.Evening witness a cultural show.

DAY 02
Kandy / Matale / Dambulla / Habarana
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere.
Thereafter transfer to Habarana via Matale. Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed.
Thereafter transfer to Dambulla. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple. The Dambulla rock temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings, is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres.

DAY 03
Habarana / Trincomalee
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The ”Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the ”Heavenly Maidens” of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster.
Thereafter transfer to the eastern shores of Trincomalee. One of the largest natural harbors in the world. Home to beautiful beaches and a colorful town.

DAY 04
Trincomalee
Full day leisure in the beach…
Indulge yourself in a Dolphin & Whale Watching. The ever smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, will nonchalantly glide past you

DAY 05
Trincomalee / Arugambay
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Arugambay.
Arugambay is a best place for water sport fanatics and surfing. Listed as one of the top ten surf points in the world.

DAY 06
Arugambay
Full day leisure by the beach or surfing.

DAY 07
Arugambay / Yala
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Yala National park.
In the evening do a safari in Yala. The park is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here.

DAY 08
Yala / Galle
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Galle. En route witness the stilt fishermen in Koggala.
Do sightseeing at Galle Fort. Galle fort once the chief port of Ceylon. Galle, the epic Southern capital, is the intersection where classic Dutch architecture meets a tropical setting creating a vivid atmosphere in beauty. Walk the Dutch-haunted streets listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions today flooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. Its original ramparts and bastions preserved up to date showcase evidences of a heritage preserved for more than 3 1/2 centuries. Walk clockwise within the fort to observe the ‘old gate’ carrying the British coat of arms. Flanking the old gate is the Zwart bastion – the oldest of all – and the lighthouse standing 18 feet in its glory next to the Point Utretcht Bastion. This Dutch bliss is painted with streets that spread in a rectangular grid pattern pierced with houses carrying Dutch colonial style verandas. However, its hallmark stands a reality where the Dutch fort remains a working community with its usual buzz of administrative offices, court complex, commercial buildings, churches and Southern folks frequenting its streets bracing the air of the Elysium of architecture, Galle!

DAY 09
Galle / Colombo
Breakfast at the Hotel. Thereafter proceed to Colombo.
En route visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and do a boat trip in Madhu River. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals – monkeys eat fruit in the trees, a water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water, and cormorants, egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks, eyeing the water for prey.
In the evening, go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo.

DAY 10
Colombo / Airport or Beach Hotel
After breakfast proceed to Airport for departure or Beach Hotel in Negombo.
